More to come on this soon....but this is crazy.

The new AI image tools, like Nano Banana Pro which I used for here, are absolutely scary. I suppose my question is, shouldn’t Michael Stipe, Rush, Robert Smith, Taylor Swift and Larry Bird be getting a royalty when I use AI to generate something like this? Not that they need any more money, but while these images started with a photo of me that I uploaded, the AI generator I used knew enough about lowly old me to take a text prompt asking to show Craig Douglas Miller from Blueburst, and makeit a guy with black hair, dressed in mostly black with and thick black plastic glasses. a Soe where’s my royalty!!

The music generators are another whole can of depressed and dehumanized wormss. Here’s a really enlightening piece on CBS Sunday Mornings about AI music.

It’s worth a watch. But beware. The look of despair on Rick Beato’s face at the end filled me with…um, despair as well.
